A current professor with experience at multiple universities

Teaching

It was a love of nutrition that encouraged Pat to pursue teaching at the university level.  Immediately after finishing graduate school at New York University, she was offered an Adjunct position to teach Food Science. That led to other courses at NYU, including Meal Management and Introduction to Nutrition.

After moving to Connecticut, Pat began teaching at Westchester Community College.  Later, she started at UConn Stamford, then at Norwalk Community College; she currently teaches at both.

Teaching soon led to corporate wellness programs.  Some of these engagements are single-session morning or lunchtime workshops, while others consist of a four- or eight-week series.
